The TWBA’s annual Salute serves as a forum for judicial candidates to not only introduce themselves to the attendees, but also speak briefly about their background, qualifications, and candidacy.  This year, we will be hearing from at least two candidates for the Supreme Court of Ohio, two candidates for the Sixth District Court of Appeals, four candidates for the Lucas County Court of Common Pleas, and two candidates for the Wood County Court of Common Pleas. 

 In addition to hearing from the judicial candidates, we will also be memorializing three judges we lost this year – Judge Fred McDonald, Judge James Jensen, and Judge Peter Handwork. 

Although we are going virtual this year, we are still recommending a $20 donation toward our scholarship given annually.  But any donation is appreciated.  A link for this events will be emailed following registration.
